Camellia hiemalis ‘Shi Shi Gashira’ is a low growing Camellia and is similar to the species Camellia sasanqua. It works well in places where you need a low growing plant. It blooms each fall with a mass of bright pink blooms.

Every southern garden should have a ShiShi Gashira camellia.This camellia is known for its beautiful flowers and long blooming season. Dark pink flowers 2-3 inches across are produced in abundance from October to early January.This camellia is a slow-growing shrub that can reach 5 feet tall but is more typically around 3 feet.

The ‘Shi shi gashira’ camellia is renowned for its abundance of large pink-red blooms with yellow centers that appear from autumn through December.
